SANSUY S/A Industria de Plasticos was founded in May 1966.  High pressure hoses or crop spraying were the first industrial manufactured products. 

By 1970 reinforced plastic canvas was introduced in the market. 

In 1972 Sansuy started to build its new plant in the town of Embu-S.P., initiating the production of PVC sheeting by the calendering process. 

In 1980 a second industrial site in Camacari Petrochemical Complex-Bahia was inaugurated and in 1986 had its production capacity increased to 15,000 ton/year. 

In 1988 Sansuy doubled the capacity of its industrial plant in Embu to 15,000 ton/year. 

EXPORT: Sansuy becomes active in exporting, participating in the broad market of PVC sheeting, reinforced canvas and industrialized products.  Sansuy is now-a-days developing commercial and technological agreements including international partners, to improve its Total Quality and the perfect adequacy to modern market requirements.  In the search of new markets gradually it introduces new products, intended for automotive, garment, shoe, visual communication markets and environmental protection.  Today Sansuy's collaborators in its 3 plants and commercial offices. 

ISO STANDARDS: Quality System fully based on ISO 9000 Norms. 

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES: Calendered thermoplastic sheeting.  Plain and printed with or without High Tenacity Polyester fabric and other textile reinforcements. 

Fabrication of finished and semi-finished industrial products, by means of thermowelding. 

High frequency welding machines. 

Weaving of High Tenacity Polyester yarns and combined impregnation as reinforcement for canvas materials. 

Project developments and client supporting services. 

TRANSPORTATION: 
Truck covers, tarpaulins, side curtains, structured truck covers and flexible semi-bulk containers 

CONVERTING INDUSTRIES: 
Single and supported sheets for: footwear, purses, luggage, outer wear and special clothing; stationary, inflatable toys, gifts; insulating apes, self-adhesives;  canvas and awnings. High frequency welding machines.  Pressure hoses. 

LEISURE: 
Swimming pools; playground, circus and convention center covers; sportive equipment's; inflatable boats. 

AUTOMOTIVE: 
Micro perforated door panels, car and motorcycle seats, flooring and trunk liners. 

VISUAL COMMUNICATION: 
Back and front lids for in and outdoors.  Projection screens and billboards. 

GEOMEMBRANES AND LININGS: 
Reservoirs, linings, irrigation channels, municipal waste, mining and roofing.  Environmental protection. 

CONSTRUCTION/WAREHOUSING: 
Structured warehouses, ventilation ducts and agricultural silos. 

SPECIAL PRODUCTS: 
Flexible tanks, military tents and shrimp breeding nets.  Special projects.

Sansuy sells its products through its commercial subsidiaries in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba and Porto Alegre, having also official representatives for the rest of the Brazilian territory.
