Multiplas International, Inc. was founded in August 1991 by its current President, Mr. Jose Luiz Godoy, 100% shareholder and former Executive Vice-President of the Sansuy of America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Sansuy S/A. - Brazil. Multiplas has given a solid continuity to the distribution and representation of Sansuy of America, Inc. products in North America. It has also established strong representation for Formosa Plastics Corp. and other corporations in North America, for the export of basic products (resins, chemicals and additives) to the plastic industry in Brazil and other countries in South America. SANSUY & NIAC: To support
the representation and distribution of Sansuy's products in North America,
Multiplas has established an exclusive working relationship with
Nissho Iwai America Corp. (NIAC); whereas
Multiplas is responsible for all marketing, sales, logistics and distribution
of Sansuy's products and NIAC is in charge of all the financing related
aspects.
Multiplas rapidly developed a solid network of clients worldwide and it has established itself as an important business partner for several international corporations, either as a supplier of raw goods (commodities for the plastic industry) and / or as a marketing, sales and distribution arm for foreign corporations seeking to sell their products in the U.S.A. Business development and strategy: Focusing on the trading aspects, Multiplas has been able to offer strong support to the industry by indicating alternative sources of supply. Economical aspects and exchange rates: Constant economical, and in some cases political, changes in Asia and South America generate an increasing need for alternative sources of supply. These changes also lead to good opportunities in "non-exporting" markets and/or countries that become competitive due to exchange rates, and at the same time in need of hard currencies generated from exports. The economic stabilization and steady
exchange rates in South America have generated rapid growth in several
sectors, creating an ever increasing need of additional and/ or alternative
sources of supply. Clients
in these countries are also demanding foreign products with better quality
and more competitive prices.
The reliable and successful business relationships that Multiplas has developed throughout the years with American suppliers and foreign clients provide Multiplas with a wide range of potential products to export and qualified buyers for imports. Multiplas International, Inc.
